Saurav Chemicals is planning to set up a greenfield pharma unit in Nimbua village in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, in Derabassi district of Punjab. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities with a production capacity of 234 tpm.
It will produce 40 API and intermediate products like alpha lipoic acid, Amiodarone Hydrochloride, Atropine Sulphate, Chlorzoxazone, Febuxostat, Pregabalin, Rebamipide, Atorvastatin, Clarithromycin etc., The project cost is estimated at ₹ 640 million. As of January 2019, the project is in planning stage and is likely to be implemented in 12 months from zero date
