Ramky Enviro is planning to set up Zero Liquid Discharge Common Effluent Treatment Plant (ZLD-CETP) at Saidpura in Derabassi, Punjab. The proposed plant will treat and recycle the effluent generated by pharma industries, ensuring compliance to standards as well as improved resource utilization and water recycling.
The treated water will be reused by the industries to address their process requirements. The plant will have a capacity to treat two million ltr of industrial wastewater everyday and is proposed to be built in two phases, spread over a period of two years.
This will be the first-of-its-kind ZLD-CETP in Punjab. The project is being developed by Ramky Enviro by acquiring Saidpura Envirotech, an SPV incorporated by an association of the pharma industries in the area.
